Job description

The Interior Design Manager leads interior design execution across projects, ensuring quality, feasibility, and alignment with brand and commercial objectives.

This role reports directly to the Board of Directors and oversees delivery from concept to completion.

• Develop and implement Interior Design Briefs aligned with project positioning, brand standards, and commercial objectives.
• Advise the Board of Directors on matters related to interior design direction, materiality, functionality, and feasibility.
• Coordinate with interior design consultants to ensure design quality and compliance from conceptual design through construction documentation phases.
• Manage and monitor progress of interior design deliverables to ensure alignment with overall project schedule and approved budget.
• Supervise the preparation, review, and approval of design documentation, ensuring feasibility and compliance with construction requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Project Management, Procurement, Sales, and Construction teams to ensure design intent is maintained during implementation.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of interior design and fit-out contractors.
• Monitor material selection, finishes, and equipment to ensure consistency with approved design concepts and cost efficiency.
• Provide design author supervision during construction and support issue resolution on site.
• Stay updated on applicable regulations, codes, and industry standards relevant to interior design.
• Propose design improvements and value engineering solutions when necessary to optimize project performance

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in high-end interior design projects (real estate, hospitality or mixed-use developments).
• Strong experience in managing consultants and overseeing design documentation across all project stages.
• Good understanding of construction processes, materials, and on-site implementation.
• Proven ability to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and ensure design quality under tight schedules.
• Experience working on the Client/ Developer side is highly preferred.
• Proficient in English communication (spoken and written).
• Strong presentation skills and ability to work directly with senior management.
• Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and decision- making skills.

Working hours: Monday to Saturday (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
